Having a bowl of Mee Kati ຫມີ່ກະທິ (Rice Stick Noodles with Coconut Milk) for lunch in Vientiane, Laos.
My two aunts were too busy again to make this soup for me so I can make a video recording of the cooking instructions. The best thing I could do was making a trip to Talat Khuadin (Khua Din Market) and treated the relatives to Mee Kati for lunch.
I can only make a few Lao Food dishes for myself and mostly various versions of Tam Som. When I do go to Laos, I like to treat myself to this noodle curry or soup and enjoy the aroma and taste of coconut milk, red curry paste, and plenty of pork blood cubes in the curry soup.
