Nam Van Mak Teng or Melon in Coconut Milk is a very refreshing dessert to have on a warm summer day. It’s quick and easy to make using ingredients of ripe melon, coconut milk, palm sugar syrup, a bit of salt and ice cubes or crushed ice.

Sometimes I just have Nam Van Mak Teng for lunch or dinner when it’s too warm for a meal. I like it better than ice-cream but not sure about the calories though.
