For the first few days of my last trip to Laos, there was no cook or maid to help around the house so we had to do a few take outs for dinner. It’s funny that I never paid attention to this lively evening market at the corner of the national circus stadium until now.

I can see why many people found this place useful as they are heading home from work and too tired to make dinner. It’s affordable to buy a meal for yourself or a few dollars and you can just sit and relax after a long day at work. If I was to live by myself I would probably cook Lao food on the weekend and will mostly eat out for personal or business reasons.
